Trust News

We have managed to buy with monies already raised a Saturation Monitor for St Peters Hospital at a cost of £1,785. This was raised from lots of generosity from people from January to August. A big thanks to all of you.

This monitor will enable children to go home earlier on oxygen and it helps parents and the nurses assess the childs progress whilst at home and help ease concern as they attempt to wean off the oxygen levels.

The Charity Golf Day 2001 (News on 2002's event coming soon)

Oh what a day, a staggering £11,142 was raised and considering we were only anticipating £1-£2,000, both Tania and myself were astonished.

Our special thanks go out to all the people who helped organize the day, many of which spent hours sticking tickets on tombolo prizes and running around shops picking stuff up. A huge thank you to Mick my brother and Paul Murphy who both spent hours of time and effort on the day, it was hugely successful.

The Captain of the golf club kept saying it was just unbelievable, which, was spot on. Our thanks also to all the very kind people that put special prizes in for the raffle, tombolo and our special thanks to the following,

Len Proctor who donated a signed England football for the auction
Josh Gifford who donated a signed cricket bat

We were really overwhelmed by the generosity from all concerned and it was fantastic to see so many kids enjoying themselves. It will be a lasting memory in a campaign to raise £20,000 for an incubator so we can put Ryan's name on it and it will help many little children in their first days of life and will provide lifesaving support for them.

Thank you all again so much and we will keep you posted on our progress.
